What is a bottle unscrambler and work principles of operation?
A bottle unscrambler is a machine used to feed bottles onto production lines in the bottling industries. Many designs are available, but their purpose is the same, to feed bottles automatically at high speeds and eliminate the expensive, inefficient manual labor of this process. We discuss the principles of operation for plastic and non-fragile containers.
Glass, metal, ceramic, and other containers that will get damaged by hitting against each other require different types of machinery like depalletizers for the automatic feeding of those bottles - containers.
Work principle of HUILIDE bottle unscrambler
HUILIDE bottle unscramblers for empty plastic bottles consist of the following sequence
Loading:bottles are fed in bulk from a storage hopper.
Distribution:while the disc is rotating, bottles which have entered the machine place themselves onto its periphery. The pre-orientation element,air-jets(to avoid physical contact with bottles) lead the bottles to lay into the selecting pieces or pockets.
Selection:once the bottles are inside the selecting pieces, air-jets of compressed air guarantee that they are all properly placed. Otherwise they are rejected again into the disk.
Descent:once bottles are placed in the selector pieces, they fall smoothly through funnels which allow the unscrambler bottles to fall gently by their own weight prior to exit to the discharge conveyor.Due to the special shape of the selector pieces bottles will always appear in an upright position----regardless if they were laying with neck leading or not inside the selecting pieces.
Outfeed:bottles, already in the upright position, are transferred onto discharge conveyor. The conveyor has vacuum so that, together with a synchronization of the speed of the machine bowl and the belt,a smooth transfer of bottles is guaranteed.
Factors to Consider Before Buying an bottle unscrambler
Although bottle unscramblers work efficiently in sorting out bottles to be filled with liquid content, you should consider certain factors before buying these machines.
A few of the factors to consider include:
1. Speed
The speed of bottle unscrambler should match up with other machines required for packaging your product.
A bottle unscrambler should be fast and frictionless. It should be the fastest machine in the production line because it is the machine needed to begin production.
2. Bottle size
Choosing a bottle unscrambler requires that you consider the size and shape of the bottles to be unscrambled.
The size of bottles has a significant effect on the speed of the bottle unscrambler. Thus, you will be recommended the machine to choose based on the size of your bottles.
3. Material
You should also consider the material used for making the bottles before choosing a bottle unscrambler.
Are the bottles made from plastic, ceramics, or glass?
You can choose automatic bottle unscramblers are recommended for bottles made from fragile materials that can easily be scratched or broken–especially if your bottles are made from glass.
4. Installation Location
A bottle unscrambler should be placed before the filling machine. It is usually the first machine in the production line.
You should consider the size of your production room and create enough space for the installation of the bottle unscrambler which is usually large.
